This report dated 9-15-14 has been provided for the urban planning committees of various cities In England. My name is Devon Lewis, and as a mid-level city inspector I trust that you will use the information within to determine appropriate needs in urban planning for your municipalities. My report has been through as I have made use of all the sources available to me and have worked to guide you through my own analysis and critical thinking to a full description of the issues facing our cities.
There were some positive aspects of Industrialization on Life & Work in the cities its healthy clean and spacious (Doc. B) and also a good safe environment to work in. The employees love their jobs and love it even more because they get payed for it (Doc. E) These resources did not seem reliable they seemed very scripted and didn't add up with the happenings of the sweat shops.
The were many negative aspects of Industrialization on Life & Work in the cities. The machines cause so much pollution it’s causing the rivers to turn purple, theres so many machines and people that its so compacts hot and sweaty.(Doc. A) To add to those its very smoky polluting the air making it dangerous to breath in that people predicted the children working in their were not going to live long (Doc. C) along with the fact that the people were working so closely together if one got sick they all got sick it was sweaty hot and germy and the people slaved away all day with the smoke polluting their lungs and the oil is polluting their water. (Doc. D)
Over all I think that the industrial revolution had a positive effect because although the people who worked during the time had to endure terrible working conditions this is the basis of employment today. You have to go through many failures if you want to succeed. Document A,C and D helped me process if it was positive or negative because they were more reliable sources the one documents B and E seem scripted and they clash with other documents and information and it just doesn't seem right . If the Industrial revolution had not slaved people through terrible conditions long hour and little pay we would have our up and running system today
